I have loved this store for years, though the owner I shopped with has departed this earth for a greater glory. They give good discounts on new books, and have a large selection of used books too. You can also call and special order books and they'll call you back when they arrive.
Great customer service
The man who used to own it loved to fellowship with anyone who came by whether you bought anything or not. For him it was obviously about ministry, not money.
Only 4 stars just because the hours are limited.
Priced bibles at several stores. Prices here are much much lower (Amazon was $30 higher for the same bible.)
I'm chomping at the bit to read some Ray Stedman and Francis Chan books, so will stop by there soon, and hope the same loving, nurturing atmosphere remains in some form. It's very enjoyable to find a great book, go just around the corner to Goodbean Coffee and get started.
Female was nice but hoped for more. Sad to say most stores in Jacksonville were not all that friendly. Price alone gets 5*
